[FIXED] EA app blank & unpopulated window

Product: The EA app
Platform:PC
Error Report ID (learn how to create an Error Report ID in the sticky post) None
Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Other (Please Describe)
Please describe The EA App is a blank, unpopulated window, invisible on my desktop, and shown as an empty windows frame when launched via xbox game pass
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 23.06.23 19.33
Summarize your bug The EA App is not populating its UI. If launched via the desktop icon, the app is invisible, although it does intercept mouseclicks on the desktop and prevents them going through to the windows that it's in front of. If launched through the PC XBox Game Pass app, it appears as a large windows frame but without any UI inside it - just a transparency through to the desktop behind. This is preventing me installing EA games through my XBOX account. If I use the EA App Recovery option in the windows start menu, I get an error dialog which reports "The app crashed unexpectedly but a restart should fix it." Restarting does not fix the problem.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I assume you will need to contact me directly for further information in order to debug the situation. However, please be assured I'm one of a great many people experiencing this problem, as a quick google search shows.
What happens when the bug occurs? The EA app does not populate its UI, making it impossible for me to see it, interact with it, or sign in on it.
What do you expect to see? A user interface instead of an empty window frame.

I've attached screenshots of what I see when running the EA App Recovery option, and launching the EA app via XBOX Game Pass using "Explore the EA App".

I've also attached the EABackgroundService.Log in case it's of help.

I'd welcome direct comms with an EA tech to debug this issue.

CM edit: updated title to reflect fix.
