Friends list doesn't load in EA Desktop app, but works on Origin.

As the title says, EA Desktop does not load the friends list but displays a message that says "An error occurred and your friends list could not be located. Try again soon.". This has been happening ...

I've waited months. Reinstalled app because of xbox gamepass and the friends list still isn't there. Same error. I refuse to make another account. EA needs to fix this and stop ignoring it!!!!
