This seems to have randomly fixed itself, duno which thing fixed it combined with a shutdown overnight.
FOUND FIX*******************
- Right click Battlefield 2042 icon on your steam library.
- Manage > Browse Local Files
- Click and open BF2042_Launcher (bear icon)
This will launch the game directly and has worked consistently for me, may take a few tries but not usually
Doesnt work I have tried many times of trying to launch the game through
-EA
-Steam
-Battlefield 2042 Files
-Launching from Icon
-running as admin in the Files
Nothing has worked AT ALL.
I'm starting to get mad over the fact that EA isnt responding to my support tickets and isnt helping me Ive tried for so long and nothing has worked. at this point Im going to start asking for a refund because its rediculous as how I cant play a game I paid for yet It wont launch because of a stupid bug they cant fix. Its not my computer I know that Ive played 12 hours of it running COMPLETELY FINE.
Nothing is wrong with my computer its something whitin the game launching I click play it shows Link2EA then the play button on steam goes from Play I click it turns blue and says stop then when it launches Link2EA it switches back to play then it just does its EA thing then the game doesnt launch and EA closes.
