Summarize your bug The EA app does not allow me to stay offline without an internet connection
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? How can we find the bug ourselves? start the EA App, select Offline mode, Remove/disable/turn off your internet.
What happens when the bug occurs? EA App throws up an Error Code 10501 and demands the App restart, and not allowing games to be played.
What do you expect to see? Selecting Offline mode should allow me to stay on the offline page even when my internet goes out.

as highlighted, the EA App will not allow me to stay in the offline version of the client unless there is a constant, active internet connection and the moment it goes, I receive Error Code: 10501 where upon the App demands to be restarted and will not continue to function in Offline mode, Futhermore, this state does not allow me to play the Sims until i can get the internet signal back and re-login
I have (hopefully) provided images of the EA app in 1.Working Online mode, 2.Working offline mode and 3.The subsequent error page following the internet being turned off.
Optional Context :
Due to complications in the area I run my internet off my unlimited Data phone's Hotspot, the only game i play is Sims so a particularly fast internet speed is not required.
we experienced a storm that knocked out a signal tower for several days and made phone signal spotty at best during which time I could not access the internet and could subsequently not play the Sims.
further testing reveals that simply turning off my internet (Phone) makes the App not function in the way listed above.
Attempted Fixes :
Fresh instal of client
Disabling Firewalls and Antivirus
Misc. fixes to Internet
