Why is it that the EA app requires me to go online when I launch my game through steam? I have ticked the box that says it should keep me logged in, yet it ask me to go online and enter my username/email and my password. How can I stay logged in even if I exit the EA app and go offline?

 I have found nothing in the EA app settings about offline mode.

  • @TheEaAppIsSatan That is more of a cache issue with the app. Once that box is checked, you should not have to log in again manually unless something is going on. See if the following help with this one.

    EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    Optional Registry clean-up

    • install CCleaner (it's free) from here
    • Run Registry cleaner
    • Click review selected issues
    • Do you want to back up? No
    • Click Fix all selected issues

    I would then launch the app itself first, and log in with the box checked. Once logged in, close down the app without signing out.

    @EA_Shepard These solutions don't help,

    I formatted ssd and clean install of windows and EA app.

    The problem looks like this :

    1) I open the client and I have to accept the new terms;

    2 ) exit from client ;

    3) I launch the client and the app forgets the login

    4 ) I enter the data with the tick on "remember login";

    5 ) I exit the client;

    6 ) I launch the client and have to accept the new terms;

    5 ) I exit the client, return, and the app forgets the login

    6 ) endless loop......

    P.S. : the only time the app remembers the login is when I have to accept the new terms.
