Ideal bank does not work on EA App.

I can't buy new The Sims 4 content. My IDEAL bank account works everywhere but not in the EA App. I really want it to work, thank you.

My IDEAL APP is up to date and my bank says it's your fault.

    Could it be that you're located in the Netherlands? We've been working on this issue for a while now, and regrettably, it seems there isn't a current solution, as our teams are still investigating the cause of the problem with the iDEAL payment portal. The issue is being monitored on the Dutch forums, here.

    A possible workaround is to use the https://ea.com website on your default browser, where the iDEAL payment portal should function correctly.

    It does not function through the ea.com website either. PLEASE fix this issue, it's been going on for a long time. PLEASE stop marking these threads as 'SOLVED' when they are clearly not.

    For many people in the Netherlands this is their main and possibly only means of online payment. Many of us don't have creditcards, and we typically do not use paypal either. Having to use cards and buying credit from other sources just to buy an expansion pack is a whole lot of extra hubbub that no one is asking for and should never have to be the case in order to buy a simple expansion pack.

    Everywhere else has iDeal, nationally or internationally. I don't understand why your service is the only one who can't provide us with it. I beg of you, please sort this out.
