Last update is stuck at 3%
Hey, I saw that there was an update this morning. I tried to launch it but it's stuck at 3%. I've restarted the EA app multiple times but each time I have the same problem.
Hey, I saw that there was an update this morning. I tried to launch it but it's stuck at 3%. I've restarted the EA app multiple times but each time I have the same problem.
If I clear the App's cache the repair still gets stuck at 51%. My game is installed in my flash drive because I don't have enough space in my computer. But the flash drive is always connected to my computer.
Cerena13 If you clear the App's cache and restart again, does the repair still get stuck at 51%, or does it progress further?
You definitely have an antivirus of some kind unless you went out of your way to disable Windows Defender. But Defender doesn't typically cause this kind of problem. Where exactly is your game installed? You can see the path in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
Thank you for your help, I tried to repair the game but this time it's stuck at 51%. I don't know what to do and I don't have any AV.
Cerena13 Rather than updating, try repairing the game, which will automatically give you the fully-updated version. Clear the EA App's cache first:

If that doesn't help, please disable your antivirus, temporarily, and try again to repair. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and you can reenable the AV as soon as you've tested Sims 4.
