3 years agoIn the EA app, click on the 3 bar menu at top left, Settings, Download.
There you can edit the install location.
Exit the app, reboot and retry at that point.

- 2 years ago@EA_Barry Thank you for your answer, but he is asking for EA app recognizing an already installed game. Not setting up a new install location.
I remember having Origin an option like this, as does every other game launcher i am using.
Does EA App have an option like this? I was trying moving the already installed game files into the new one EA App is creating when downloading the game again, but it doesn't recognize them as already downloaded.- 6 months ago
ANSWER:
Just install the game, and choose the folder of the game
itll 'update' and 3sec later its ready to play

Indeed but that only work if you have more then enough space on your drive, what i have is i want to reinstall the game star wars survivor and you need 129,.. gb i only have space for 61 but the game is already there and it would not start the game in the folder that i tryed as well you get redirected to the EA app for installing the game
