Login credentials expired??

I've been playing 2042 on my PS5 since launch and haven't had any issues with connecting. I launched the game this morning and can't connect to the servers and am prompted with this message:

"Reset your password.   It's been a while since we've seen you, so your login credentials have expired. The good news; all you need to do is reset your password.

We just sent a password reset email to [edit: email address removed]

Need help? See what to do if you don't have access to that email anymore: http://x.ea.com/ea/cant-login"

The email is lists is one of my old ones that has been inactive for several years. I still have access to it, so I logged in and there are no emails from EA, no password reset promts or anything at all. I checked my primary email account as well and have received nothing. So, I'm not getting a way to reset my password, it's forcing me to try to login to EA servers with the wrong email, and I can't get into game at all.

I have not changed ISPs, I have not changed emails, login information, passwords, playstation accounts, or any network information. This morning I downloaded the new update patch for 2042, that has been the only thing that changed and I have since been unable to login. Please help.

    I'm afraid this isn't something we would be able to help with here on Answers HQ. We don't have the tools to look into account issues. 

    It would be best to reach out to the EA Help team so they can take a look at your account and see if they can help get you logged back in. For more info on how you can set up a case with the team check out the EA Help website

  • @BakeratDliveTV i have the same issue except i haven't been able to login at all. it sends it to an email i don't have access to, no way to change email, accounts, or anything. good luck with support, they've been garbage for me.

    I can't login either, when I load the game I hit X to go try to go to the menu but it has to connect to online services first and thats when I get my error message pop-up. Still no resolution for me. 

  • @EA_Kent. I get this same thing every time I load the game. I re enter my password through the email it sends and I'm able to play. But it's only battlefield that's effected. It's not an account issue
  • same, EA is very unhelpful with this because they keep sending the same robotic lines. * ea

  • @EA_Kent Hey everyone I have the same problems and have no way of contacting anyone because actually getting someone to help from them is completely impossible and this experience makes me not want to even get back into gaming. Very upset with this company all of their “answers” aren’t answers they are just giving everyone the run around because it’s cheaper and they don’t care

    Still no fix. And still the same runaround. And they have no support team or contact. Just bought battlefield 1 can't login. Credentials expired. Changed password 10+ times. Still same results, can't even connect accounts, everytime I hit the PS button to sign in. INSTANTLY gives error and sends me back to Reset password. No resolve. Haven't found solution, please help. It's like the game designers literally don't care. Then just leave us in the dust for the next investment. 

  • Same thing for me, with every EA game. Started with madden 23, which I paid full price for at launch, using the same account I used for madden 22, fifa 22 battlefield 1 and battlefield 5. It's the same account I've been using since ps4 launch. Now I can't play any EA games. I've never gotten a single "reset password" email that supposedly sent. And I've changed my password 3 times from EAs site. The help is absolutely non existent only ever telling me to reset my password, linking me to a completely different topic, or "this isn't something we can help with." Guess I'll won't be buying any EA games in the future. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

    @SpiCeMustardFart I have the same issue. Forget about the ea help chat or email, they want you to guess your account details to letter perfection which is impossible when your account is made over 10 years ago (in my case).

    What made me even more furious is when I'm talking to EA help, they tell me I should do my best to remember the details as they believe I will find it.
  • And still the same! Ea is so bad. How do they expect us to remember an email from 10 plus years ago. Literally have to make a new pan just to play games online, this is awful screw ea
