Community ManagerHey, so in my case I was forced to move from Origin to EA app fairly recently and I had the game BOTH on Steam and Origin. Before this launcher change I bought several add-ons on Origin that are now on steam. On the EA launcher, it wouldn't let me open SIMS 4 because it says "Standard Edition accessed through Steam" and it won't let me download the add-ons i have.
im having this issue and the customer service was no help. It says steam over the game and no download button in origin, same with in steam it says it cant be downloaded.
I FIGURED IT OUT!!! Go to the store in the Origin app and search for Sims 4, then click download from there. It will add another sims 4 to your library that will allow you to download it. Freaking customer service AND the bug fix guys couldn't figure this out?? Im a 20 year old kid with not a lot of computer experience and i figured it out EA bye get better
I am having the same issue where it will not let me download what I already bought and says I have in the library. Did you fix it?
