Hi PurpleSweetTart,

Regarding the EA app only installing on the C drive—this is intentional. The C partition (or drive) is the default location for software on Windows. That said, you can install your games on any other partition or drive you prefer, so you’re not limited to gaming on C. I appreciate your feedback on this, though!
As for purchasing games or DLC on the EA website versus the app, it shouldn't make a difference. As long as you're logged into the same account on both, your content will be available in the app as long as you meet the necessary requirements.
About your concern that "everything hinges on the app," I'm not entirely sure what you mean. There aren’t any widespread issues with crashes, stutters, or hangs, but if you're experiencing specific problems, I'd recommend checking out our Troubleshooting the EA app guide or posting about the issue in the EA app Technical Issues & Bugs forum. Just a heads-up—it's best to stick to one issue per post to keep things clear.
Regarding the confusion around marking posts as "solved" for visibility, it's usually stated in the marked post why it was chosen as the solution. However, we’ve received feedback about potentially using a different label or tag for clarity, and I really appreciate your thoughts on that as well.
Thanks again for your input! 😊
