So we can investigate, would you be able to create an > Error Report <, and post the Error ID in this thread? We'll take a look. If you are however unable to create an Error Report, we'd like the install log files, located in: C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp

They look something like this:

Hello.

Can't create Report because installation aborts before installer could create application folder with ErrorReporter.exe. However, log-file in attach.

I finally got the email with the installer, so I did some testing, I copied api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll from a Windows 8.1 install. and got further, to an OS block that says you must be running Windows 8.1 or newer. I tried using application verifier to trick it into thinking I'm on 8.1, but that caused the installer to instantly crash.

Going to attach three logs, each under the different launch conditions.

api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll is missing

Windows 7 64 bit

Same problem. After running installer i got this message

No logs in local folder, os w7 x64 home premium
