Redeemed Gift Card never showed up

So 2 days ago i got an EA gift card from a friend worth 25 euros who bought it from ALDI (German Supermarket).

I went to the Website to redeem it to see the value of the Gift card and accept. After that it said that the amount (25 euros) are now in my Wallet and ready to be used.

Sadly the Amount is not in my wallet (doesn't show up anywhere) and if i try to redeem the gift card again it says 0 euros (obviously because it has already been redeemed)

Sadly i have no proof of me redeeming the card because at the time i didn't think it was needed to record my screen.

Contacting support was a drag because they just said that there is no way to check if i redeemed something and that my only option is to go back to the retailer (ALDI) and to talk to them about it. (disclaimer: they don't care because they sold an official gift card and are now not taking it back because it has obviously been redeemed)

For me personally this really isn't about the money because it was a gift but the cause that it just cant happen that everything works out and then suddenly your money is gone and never showed up anywhere.

    Hey iiiiANNOiiii​

    Typically, gift cards should be redeemed on your EA Wallet page, per the instructions for redeeming gift cards, rather than on the site you used. Although it should still register. 

    Since it's been 3 days and the amount still hasn't been reflected in your EA wallet, it'd be best to contact live support again and have them review your balance. The team there should be able to do a deep dive into your account and see what can be done.

    Yes, the account is the same but now that you mention it i never got a confirmation email from EA saying that something was redeemed, which makes me worried. I have checked again and it was the official site i redeemed it on. (https://www.ea.com/redeem) So there might  be a larger problem ahead. 

    Anyways 3 days later and the amount has not shown up yet

    Just to confirm, are you signed in to the same EA account you redeemed the gift card on? Please check whether the email address you received a confirmation email from is the same as the one associated with the EA account. It might take a bit of time for the redeemed amount to sync and appear in your wallet

    Unfortunately, we don't have the right tools or records to support billing or account-related requests here on the forums. So if your EA Wallet does not update to reflect the redeemed amount after some time, please contact live support again to have them check your account balance.
