I literally had the same issue just now literally a few days after you posted this 02/17.
I had the same run around with EA support with the links to clear the cache, run as an administrator etc.
I found a work around by installing Origin and downloading the game that way!

@dance2074 This helped so much. Into the future was the first to download when I regot the Origin launcher Im just hoping everything will go through now. Thank you for sharing your experience cause it definitely helps!
