I keep getting this error before you say have you cleared ea app cache yes I have also installed it on my 2nd pc still getting the same error message
Hello fellow Sims 3-players!
I've been facing this issue too but finally got my solution tonight. I've been battling the EA-support and kept myself updated in threads like this behind the scenes since early August this year about this very issue. I've had numerous e-mail conversations and chats with the support team giving EA hell, spending hours explaining the issue, rebooting and reinstalling, following countless steps in haphazard attempts at solutions and asking them time and time again to just transfer my games to Steam.
Tonight, a guy from the support actually said no, he could not transfer my games to Steam, he could however solve my issue with installing games on the EA App. Noticing I had a 32-bit version of the game, he updated it to 64-bit and stayed in the chat to ensure all my DLCs downloaded correctly. He said all the veteran players have the 32-bit version and the players facing this issue would probably be helped by getting this done. I asked, but you can't fix this yourself, you have to reach out to support. Not sure if it will work for everyone but it is probably worth a shot!
