Sims 4 Downloading Issues

Please help, so I just bought a new game pack on the new EA app. The game pack I purchased is, "Dream Home Decorator" and I'm having issues with downloading it. It's telling me that it's preparing and calibrating the download time, but it has been stuck on this for a while now. I signed out and back in, I download origin and tried to download from there but when I clicked "Download", it wouldn't even do anything! Will somebody please help me, I just spent 15 dollars on this pack and I really want to get my money's worth. I've attached a photo of what it's telling me on the download manager.

    @collinhoolihan Hi, I had the same issue with the vintage glamour pack.. I fixed it but using the exit option which can be found on the left handside (the three lines). Once you press the exit option this everything should close. Re-open the app and search for your pack and it should appear on screen with a download option. Hope this helps!!!

    Hi there, I'm also having this issue while downloading the "cottage" extension pack. I cleared disc space as much as possible including the Origin app, since I have been running everything fine with the new EA app. But it still is stuck on preparing time. I can close and re-open and still struggle. I had downloaded "island living" just fine only an hour earlier. Can anyone help?

    If you're still having issues with the download, there are a few things to try:

    Hi there, thanks so much for the response. Unfortunately, going through those methods didn’t work. Restarted my pc and tried again and still no luck.

    Also, I re downloaded Origin to see if I can just install and run through there instead, but while the EA desktop app shows I do own Cottage Living, the origin app shows I still need to buy 😣

    Hi I sent two responses but have not heard back. I am still unable to download cottage living. I’ve tried everything you mentioned but it doesn’t work. When trying to download on origin instead, it shows that I do not own it although i bought it on the EA app and it says I own it there.

    @SailorJupiterNB so sorry for the delay!

    If Origin is showing that you no longer own the content, it sounds like we'd need live support to review your account a bit further and check what's going on there. Here on AHQ, we wouldn't have access to your account details to take a look.
