I just got on to play and my hours have reset from over 10,000 to just 2,000 out of nowhere. I lost over 333 days in play time, is there any way to fix this? I reset cache+repaired my game but absolutely nothing. This happened to my sims 3 too a couple years ago, but I only had 5-6k hours and I didn't play much anymore so it didn't bother me. Please if anyone has any solutions let me know!

It may not be a big issue, but I liked keeping track of how many hours I put into the game. Before I ran the game earlier today it was around 5200 hours. Now I exited the game and it displays 255 hours and I have no idea why it did that and where did the number come from. I'm quite upset. EA App is making me really anxious.
I had the same issue with the EA App, I had over 5000 hours and it got reset to 248 hours. It's back now though, I just restarted the launcher on Windows by right-clicking the application and clicking close window and when I loaded back up, my hours had returned.
My hours played came back when I launched the EA App the next day. But it seems that every day there's something new that goes wrong! Sometimes I have to do the old switch-on-and-switch-off with my computer because my game library doesn't want to load. Also, the constant logging out, the failing to connect to the network and many more are really getting on my nerves. The random language change was the cherry on top.
I feel like there weren't enough beta-testers before so the forced migrations were supposed to do just that - accumulate enough people to see where it's lacking.
Well, it feels totally incomplete so... I guess we did learn something about the new app.
There's only one EA game type I play and it just so happens it's finally getting competition.
I'll be happy to support the better one.
We're customers.
And it's our money.

Same here, but with a different game, Mass Effect LE: more than 500 hours deleted just like that...anyone has a solution for this annoyance?
Idk what happened, my playtime was close to 3000 hours and now when I look it says 626 hours?!
What happened to over 2,3k hours I played?
This new number showed up after the recent update btw.
Edit: I know it's nothing game breaking, it just bums me out cause I was waiting for it to hit 3k hours and take a screenshot of it.
I've the exact same issue, almost 3k hours played, now down to 760 hours :(
Good to know it's just not me.
I tried doing math (not my strongest side lol) to figure out how many hours it should be, but since I don't keep track of how many hours a day I play and I have periods with months in between playing, and periods when I play several hours a day for a couple of months, I'm just left confused 🤣
