I can't launch the sims 4 anymore since I had to switch from Origin to EA on mac. An error message always pops up saying there was an error on EA's end and the app can't be launched. I repaired the game, uninstalled it and installed it again, deleted all my mods but it's still not working.
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this?
I have the same problem, I've removed all mods and uninstalled Origin and Sims. The client window will just pop up after attempting to launch the game. I am getting a notification that the EA app for Mac is coming out in a couple of days for Mac on Origin but I'm not sure if that's a factor. I just made copies of all my save files and mod folders in case it transfers over while I can't open it.
I’m not sure why but for some reason I was able to launch the game but only in “Offline mode”. Give that a try- fingers crossed it’ll work for you too!
I hope they they come up with an actual solution for this issue soon though
