Sims won’t get married

I play Console. After today’s patch I decided test the pregnancy and have my sims marry and start a family. Well, they won’t get married! I tried the wedding arch and they just glitched over top of each other and never got married , then walked away. I tried Elope Immediately and that didn’t work either.
