"The app won't be able to connect to Internet" although I am connected to Wi-Fi

Hi, since this past Friday (March 21st), I can't play Sims 4 at all. I had an update to install, but my download was stuck at 1% then a window telling me the app won't be able to connect to Internet ...

Same issue here, and have tried all the things you have too with no luck.

I solved it!!!!!
For some reason, my Wi-Fi connection was not secured. I changed it. Also, went to my DNS and changed from IPv4 to IPv6. I don't know if it's my WI-FI connection or the DNS switch, but I appeared online a few minutes after those changes. 
I hope it'll work for you as well.
