Hi,I have my xbox live account linked to ea. And also have active subscription to EA Play (from xbox subscription). I can login and see on browser that everything is ok.However when try to login on ea desktop. After entering credential, I get "Something went wrong. There's a problem with your account". Hey @ddewashish can you check if an anti-virus or firewall on the device may be interfering with EA Desktop? Also, you can try to Untick the options in LAN Settings

There's a problem with your account

Hi,

Repair EA Desktop app
Clear cache
Uninstall and reinstall app
Running as administrator
Compatibility mode. As I am running in windows 11. I see there are some threads saying that EA desktop is beta and not compatible with Windows 11. But it was running before.
Unlink and relink the account. Now I can not unlink anymore
Used another EA account and tried login. But same error. So not related to my specific account.

Now not sure what to do now.

A help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey @ddewashish can you check if an anti-virus or firewall on the device may be interfering with EA Desktop? Also, you can try to Untick the options in LAN Settings

This thing is complete and total garbage. I logged into here with the same credentials and there is nothing wrong with my account but on that garbage app... I have tried all the poodle jumping hoops listed here and I still can't log in. This thing is nowhere ready to replace Origin.

I was connected to a VPN and after I saw your comment, I disconnected and it worked. THANK YOU!!!! 🙂

yeah I had the same problem with the sims 4 i tried for days every method even getting rid of my firewall and anti virus nothing worked plz fix this.

maybe you forgot to update the ea like i did so go into the ea files and update it thats what i did and it worked

I'm continuing to have this problem. I've tried everything that has been suggested and it still won't work. I can sign into my account on the website but not in the actual app.
