    I have got the same issue but for FIFA 23. The game that's already crap because of an EAanticheat issue at launch day.

    These guys can't seem to get anything right. I can't install the game I bought because of some stupid Issue.

    EA help advised me to ask Microsoft but it isn't their fault because it's only FIFA 23 not FIFA 22 or F1 22

      Hey all,

      I figured it out, at least in my case. From the EABackgroundService log telling me I didn't have permissions, I asked EA chat support to just delete the game from my account and re-add it. This is all it took. Sounds like they must have done some sort of migration process with our accounts and it was not tested very well before they implemented it.
