I'm not quite sure what you mean.
I can see a folder for EA Play in C:\Program Files and I cannot see a folder for Sims 3 except in my Document folder.

@goldenhatcher,
I know that the EA app doesn't always want to play nice with DLCs/expansion packs, especially for older games. Are you able to play the Sims 3 with all your DLCs on Origin at least?- 4 years ago
The thing is I finished downloading via Origin, and I can run it just fine via EA Play OR Origin. My issue is it won't stop trying to download the now-installed extra content. (I'm currently exhausted and cannot remember if it's a game pack, stuff pack or expansion pack)
I'm now partly trying to figure out how to get rid of it/actually cancel it because when I try to run the launcher it opens EA Play and it's using a lot of memory/disk trying to download it even though it keeps getting an error/it's already installed.

@goldenhatcher,
It might just be worth it to uninstall the EA app for now and play through Origin instead. I'm sorry that this has been such a negative experience, hopefully you'll be able to play via Origin without any issues.
I'll keep my eyes open for potential solutions just in case.
