Bought EA Play Pro after my year sub ran out. When I launched EA Play today to resub, I noticed the game was not in the installed section anymore. Resubbed, and tried to download. Exact same error. Deleted EVERYTHING EA, from %appdata% and everything. No dice (pun intended).
Basically paid $20AUD for an error message. I hope they at least refund me some of it, I literally only want to play BF2042.
Oh, and also, I can install any other game just fine, it's just battlefield that won't do it.
Got the same issue, switching to the old Origin client eventually did the trick.
