I have that problem, too. I haven't had access to my games for 4 games now.
I contacted support in several different ways.
The first response I got was from a bot offering tips to solve a completely different problem.
The second I got was from EA's customer service, who told me that I should download the EA Launcher and play my games from there.

I'm getting really pissed off with this, as it was forced upon us.

@Funky_nessie So what I did was close out of the app entirely and then go into program files/Electronic Arts and do the EAUpdater executable. Here's a link I found that details it with pics too. Pretty sad EA and it's admins/community people can't even explain this in any forum I've visited before trying this on my own.
