Unable To Add Friends On EA App

Me and my friend cant add each other and cant see other people, also our privacy settings are fine, and still cant add people
It only says NO RESULTS and even though we tried ID, real name and E-mail
Also Origin was 10x better than this cursed app, basically nothing works and looks hideous

    This answer from other post actually helped me:

    While I was never able to add my Brother using his EA ID, we did find out that we could add each other via the import from Steam feature after making his Steam profile Public.  We did this by following these steps in Steam:

    1) Hover over your Profile name then choose "Profile"

    2) Click "Edit Profile"

    3) Click "Privacy Settings"

    4) Change "My Profile" to "Public"

    My Brother had his set to Friends Only.  Once he switched it to Public, his name showed up in EA under the Import from Steam list.  

    Hope this helps somebody!

    Thanks for sharing those steps @zurrang. If they are trying to import their friend list from Steam, those steps are important and should help those friends show up. 

    If you aren't trying to find friends on Steam appear in the EA App search results @MeoFin, there are some other things to try. Check out this thread EA App - Can't find a friend and the heading 'My friends aren't showing up in the search results!' and try those steps.
