Payment Bug
I went to buy The Sims 3 Seasons pack through the EA app, after verifying my security code it said there was an error purchasing the pack but then I get a notification on my phone saying I've just spent £1 at EA. Buying what exactly if the full payment didn't go through?
I triple checked my details - all correct and tried a second time just to figure out if I'd made a mistake the first time. Another £1 off my card gone. I don't know if there's a direct support email I can go to to get a refund and find out how to fix this so I can get the pack but if there is, I want to know why or how this happened. Is it a bug or what?
6942oballs The £1 charge is a way to verify that the card works, and the money from each one should be returned to your account soon (or "soon"). But since you're not able to make the purchase, I'd suggest trying with a different card. You can also try the website rather than the EA App.
