Payment Bug

I went to buy The Sims 3 Seasons pack through the EA app, after verifying my security code it said there was an error purchasing the pack but then I get a notification on my phone saying I've just spent £1 at EA. Buying what exactly if the full payment didn't go through?

I triple checked my details - all correct and tried a second time just to figure out if I'd made a mistake the first time. Another £1 off my card gone. I don't know if there's a direct support email I can go to to get a refund and find out how to fix this so I can get the pack but if there is, I want to know why or how this happened. Is it a bug or what?

  • From what I can see in the forums, others have had problems purchasing packs but no one else has mentioned actually losing money from their card when the error pop-up shows. I'm worried about trying again, even after clearing my cache because the last thing I want is to be £3 down... obviously. Freaking out a bit so I'll be avoiding doing anything else for now.

    Thanks so much, I have never had a pop-up like that before so it had me fairly nervous lol. Just tried now through the website and it worked, so even bigger thanks to you :))
