unable to download Battlefield 2042

Question

Im unable to download battlefield 2042. It keeps saying theres something wrong with your download. its the only game i cannot install.

so last year i had this same exact problem. But EA rep from twitter was able to fix it on his end, i had no idea what he did.

so heres the timeline on what i did last year,

-BETA Battlefield 2042 released, i install but didnt get to play it

-ended up buying it but couldnt install it, maybe it bug because beta was still there.

-uninstall beta, still didnt work.

-talked to EA rep, he fixed it on his end. then i was able to play.

-didnt like the game, refunded it

-when i found out EA play has 2042, i decided to sign up but i couldnt download it again just like last year

heres what i have done to troubleshoot

- clearing cache

-reinstall EA app

-moving the directory file on where to install

-download ORIGIN to install from there

- FACTORY RESET MY PC (i know its not my pc)

Last week, STEAM had battlefield 2042 free trial for like 3days, guess what? i downloaded it installed and played with no problem. but now since it ended, i cant play anymore

i talked to EA rep from twitter but they dont want to help, and send me here instead. so please if anyone can help i would appreciate it so much

Same issue, EA App thinks I have the Ultimate edition (this was refunded) later bought the standard edition and installed via Origin.&nbsp; Moved to EA app and stuck in this constant loop of failed download.&nbsp; The game was launching, but I'm not having much luck getting it to launch tonight for some reason.&nbsp; No idea if this game will update.&nbsp; Reported this on another thread hear but have received no assistance.

hey bud I just want to let you know that i found a solution.. I knew that the problem wasnt from my laptop, the bug is on the account so every time EA rep "tried" to help, they always give you methods to troubleshoot YOUR laptop. I been trying to tell them that its the ACCOUNT that has the problem so last night i proved myself right

so I figure, since its My account that has a problem heres what I did

-signup for a NEW Hotmail account & EA play account. (make sure they are linked)

-signup for xbox Game pass for $1 a month

-logout your original account from xbox app & EA app

-Login to your NEW account that u just made for xbox/EA app

-download battlefield 2042 (wait till its done)

-Log out of your new account

-log back in to your original account

and everything works perfectly.. as you can see in my attachment i successfully downloaded BF 2042 No thanks to EA rep
