Summarize your bug Unable to launch the Sims 4 game. Every time I try it comes up with an error saying: Your game failed to Launch 'An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later'
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click the play button next to the game information. It will ask for administrative privileges and then will try to launch the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game does not launch and closes the window.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to load.
This has been occurring since I downloaded the latest expansion pack; Growing Together. I was able to play it for a day without any issues then the following day it would not load.
I have spoken with EA help desk a few times and they have said this issue is affecting many users but no one was able to give me a time scale for how long it would take to fix.
I had hoped the update last week would fix the issue but nothing has changed; I still can't launch the game. I have tried everything, shy of uninstalling the game to get it to work but I don't want to uninstall unless I know this will fix the issue. I have quite a few expansion packs for this game, so I know it will take hours to reinstall.
