Unable to play purchased game. Getting Error Message "There was a slight hiccup"

Summarize your bug When I try to install Battlefront 2 it says 'Unable to install There was a slight hiccup and we couldn't finish installing STAR WARS Battlefront II. Restart your PC and try again.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I edited one of user files so I could change the install location. After doing that I have had the issue. I've tried restarting, reinstalling, repairing and deleting induvial files for the game. None of which have worked
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't install the game
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to install and for me to be able to play the game

i was trying to install FIFA 21 to play with some friends, but i got the "Unable to install. There was a slight hiccup and we couldn't finish installing FIFA 21." error. I did everything i could find on forums and nothing worked, i even reset my whole pc (cuz why not, we have big brain) and it still gave me the error. Am i the problem or is something from the servers

I've had this same error with the Sims 4. I have to exit out of EA desktop and open up Origin to access the game

This magically worked for also. Start Apex Legends download, cancel it, start the other game downloads.

Everytime I try to install a game (ex. N4S Payback and all other games) I get the message "Unable to install - There was a slight hiccup......... Restart your PC and try again"..

I got a linked account (Xbox Game Pass ultimate) and it says play after username in EA Desktop app.

It has worked before and all placed it is linked correct. What is wrong?

@EA_Darko -- Any solution for this yet.  I subscribed XBOX game pass only for the sole purpose of playing FIFA 21. On March 12, it suddenly stopped working and I uninstalled it.  Since the day I am trying to download the game again.  I have tried everything from restarting to re-installing, nothing works.  I really could use your assistance. Hope you will reply. Please have a look at it the error too which I get.
