Hey, sorry to here that. But if you reinstall (and probably need to sign in again, and or verify) Do they all show up?
Better to just update the app, not unistall then reinstall. Use "About EA app," I think, top right. Unless you got rid of, or deleted all of your games and game folders and don't plan to play or use anything EA again, deleting the app will temporarily wipe EA game data etc from your PC, but not from EA account which has all details. At least that's my understanding.
Uninstalled games also show up in the app. I guess you know all that, but just wanted to check you got your games, all of them back?
The games need the app to work/launch/install/reinstall. No way to skip the app totally. Not saying that's what you tried to do, but any how, they should all come back, slowly perhaps? When you down load from the web and then re- install it, the newest version downloads by default. After fully logged in your profile games etc should populate the app. I say should, after you logged in again.
Other clients:
I think some old games on GOG can be played directly from the game exe without the app. The will not launch even in the background.
Steam is almost the same, but launching a game from the exe, launches Steam in the background. Unavoidable (correct me if I'm wrong)
Epic is the worst for this recently. I couldn't play one game or purchase any as they are doing some regional change kind of thing. Epic games don't even show up in windows uninstall a program from control panel page! Just a folder with the game files inside whereever you installed it, plus seperate save game/setting folders C: drive, and windows registry. (I don't install games on my C: System drive)
I don't have many Epic games, but I will never delete one again. The Epic app is kind of funky as of late, so the only option is to delete the whole game folder. That leaves a lot of reg entries, and the link to wherever they are saved is gone. At least that was my experience. I don't like it at all. Due to that I don't use Epic unless it's free give away because no issue unistalling the game folder whichever drive it's on.
That issue with Epic was, sometime latish last year.
EA app works well for me though, so does Steam. (But I've never uninstalled any game app/client itself.)
