[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On

Thanks for jumping on the forums so quickly and flagging the issues — we really appreciate it. We can confirm there was another unfortunate outage affecting the EA app Friends List and related features (invites, cross-play, etc.) last night.

Current Status
The good news? It should be resolved now. That said, our teams are keeping a close eye on things to make sure it stays that way.

What to Do If You're Still Affected
If you're still running into problems, try fully restarting the EA app or the game you were trying to play. That usually forces a proper reconnect to the servers and should get things back on track.

Still Broken After May 15, 2025?
Still having issues after today (May 15, 2025) — especially on the EA app? Please send us your EA app Error Reporter ID here in the thread so we can dig deeper. There might be a different issue going on for you.

Zip File Upload Bug (Forum-Specific)
We’re also aware that some of you are having trouble uploading .zip files when replying to posts on the forums. Our team is looking into that as well.
