Why EA Desktop display old ID?

I've been trying EA Desktop for a few weeks but I notice recently that EA Desktop is displaying everyone's old ID. Everyone in my friend list and me as well. Why? And how can I change or hide this? I don't want people to see my old ID.

Edit: To be clear, it's displaying old ID under the current ID when you hover your mouse over their names

    You can change this in the EA app by doing the following:

    • Click on your username in the top right
    • Click on My Profile
    • Click on Edit Profile
    • Set a new nickname

    I have this issue as well while using EA Desktop, under my current ID name it is showing an old ID name I used in the the past.  Could someone clarify which of these two names I have is gonna end up showing while in multiplayer games?

    Hi @Vichax,

    Could you please provide a screenshot of the username that is being displayed?

    There is the option in the EA app to use both your username and to set a display name. When you set a different display name, does that update the old username that you are seeing?

    Here is a screen shot showing my current name on top and a old name I do not use anymore under it.
