Every time I hit play on steam it pops a small window saying "application not found" and then after clicking "ok" it says "failed to start the process for this game: the operation was canceled by the user. (0x4C7)"
@Jas24x7 Please post a screenshot of the error message. And let me know if it helps to open Steam and the EA App as an admin first. To do so, right-click on each one's desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."
this is happening to me too, even after uninstalling both the sims and my vpn.

@kahtrah Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before reinstalling it. If that alone doesn't help, run the EA App as an admin: right-click the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Do the same for any other game launcher you need to use to play Sims 4, for example Steam.
