I've downloaded the EA Desktop BETA and have installed it, however even though I have Xbox game pass ultimate and my accounts are seemingly linked, I don't appear to be able to download and play the EA titles that should come with it?

I dont see why the rest of the world should have to wait. If Ea says it releases on the 15th, I expected it to be up on the 15th in my timezone.
Its the 15th of December when this was supposed to be released and information on this is still very vague. I'm guessing I've linked my accounts however not sure its linked properly, I think I have the correct desktop app installed? You would think if this was the day it was being launched I wouldn't be guessing all of this and would have a defined page with all the info I need to access. If today is launch day, very poor job of it. Better communication needed from MS Xbox and EA on this.
yes .. zero information, I didn't even know it was on EA desktop this morning, I was dressing on originals...
I am in the same boat. I have Xbox for PC. I've linked my EA account and Xbox account and can't play EA Play games.
This has not been solved as it is now the 15th, launch day, and I have this exact issue. I have gone through all my accounts, everything is connected. No EA Play for Game Pass.
Same here. The EA Desktop app is telling me to sign up for EAPlay instead of using my Ultimate gamepass sub.
To be fair, the working day has not long started in America, they probably have to run some tests first to make sure it's all working.it will probably be turned on in an hour at the earliest. also its already the 16th for some people.
I found out how to connect the accounts:
1. go to ea help
2. logout if you are logged in
3. login with xbox live
4. now your accounts should be connected
But I still cant play EA games, but both accounts are connected
