Your Game failed to launch

Which client functionality are you experiencing this bug with? Launch Game
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 10/2/23
Summarize your bug when going to launch a game (Fifa23) i get the error- "your game failed to launch" "An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later" I been trying to play for 3 days with this constant error since merging from Origin to EA App.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try launch the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Stated in summarize your bug
What do you expect to see? the game launching

since merging with EA app i been getting this error. Have contacted support over the phone who said there is no errors on your end however thats the message i get when launching a game. This has happened since moving from origin to ea app

    Summarize your bug It's the "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail." issue. I've tried all possible steps and the game will not launch.
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use ea app and try to launch The Sims 4 (or probably any other game)
    What happens when the bug occurs? I get this error "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail."
    What do you expect to see? the game to launch

    When are you fixing this? After reinstalling the ea app and the whole game, your ea app still won't launch games! Launching worked perfectly well with origin UNTIL you added the popup that forces us to switch to ea app. The popup will stop us from clicking on anything else within origin. We just need an option to close the popup in ea app and resume to our game library. Everything worked for me on Thursday night when I was still using origin. There was nothing wrong with the game itself. But your ea app is a disaster and it won't let us play. 

  • I'm having a really similar issue with Dead Space, can't even get the thing to install now though - never mind launch!!!!

    Don't even bother trying to go through support. I've lost hours on it today and got nowhere.

    @welshmandan8 Yeah I did the skit too with different ea help ppl and they gave me the runaround of, well, as I described, clearing caches, reinstalling everything and stuff and none of it works. It's just the ea app that _sucks_. I want a version of origin WITHOUT THE SOFTLOCKING POPUP so I can play. I mean origin wasn't really that great but the ea app is SO MUCH WORSE. If I didn't have Metroid prime to play I'd just spend my whole weekend screaming from frustration.

    Summarize your bug All weekend my Command & Conquer Remastered edition has failed to launch, with an error message that says that it failed due to an error at your end.
    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Why ask me? You're supposed to be the experts.
    What happens when the bug occurs? I get an error report that claims that the fault is at your end.
    What do you expect to see? I expect you to fix the fault and let me play the game that I purchased.

    I don't know why you expect additional information. Your own error report claims that it is a fault at your end. What more information could I possibly provide. All weekend, every time that I try to launch the game it fails with the same error report.


  • The new EA App forced me out of Origin and now Battlefield 1 cannot launch.
    EA, I'm asking you, why do you push a launcher that clearly doesn't work. EA App's Reddit is filled with complaints. This launcher isn't ready for release, yet you are forcibly pushing it??

    I own the game on Origin, I haven't purchased this through Steam...

  • So EA just forced us to install the ea launcher, if we want to play the games we paid for. Surprise surprise, now i cannot play bf2042 because "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your lauch to fail. Try again a litlle later".....

    And support for their games are non existent! EA once again just craps on their player base, over and over and over again..... Im done buying titles from this company .... is it at all legal to prevent ppl from using the product they bought, by introducing a non functioning launcher???

    I downloaded the app before the apparent forced push to it. Everything was fast and I was playing my games until Feb 10, 23. Now I am experiencing the same thing, Can't play any of them. It's something that happened after I installed it and everyone else was forced to install it, but it doesn't seem to be working for anyone now.

    update:

    It now says "Your game failed to launch. Double-check your connection, or try again later"

    how difficult is it to just open up origin for people to use. Im hoping for compensation for the time missed on ingame content such as SBCs, Rivals rewards and FUT Champs.
