Account Hacked. Support refuses to help.

Ive spent all morning trying to get in conact with EA support to no avail. It seems the website is purpose built to make it impossible to contact anyone. Ive tried initiating a live chat but i just get sent back to the EA help home page once ive completed the form.

 But anyways, my account was linked by someone who somehow gained access to my account to a steam account that isnt mine. I have since unlinked the accounts, and changed my password. But now i have the issue that im unable to link MY steam account since accounts can only be linked once. I was hopeing support would at least try to help and if possible get my actual account linked.

    If several cases have been opened in a short time (even if those were opened due to technical issues), the live chat option will disappear for a while.

    You can try again in a few hours or try and contact them as a guest, so without being logged in. That way, you should have the chance to choose live support again.

  • it told me wait time was 3 minutes.

     So i tried another browser, and made double checked that i didnt have a VPN active. Again wait time 3 minutes.  i filled out the form and i got a mesage from an Agent but in the fraction of a second it said (in german) "conversation has been ended due to loss of connection". So i figured id try again but now the live chat option is missing. Ill go to the same place i found it last time and its just not there.

     I figured id have a look in my active cases and see if i can continue there. The big blue continue case button just lead me to an article, which had the hyperlink "get in touch with us", which would lead me to a page recommending me to look at an Article, which turned out to be the same Article i had just come from.

    I tried closing the active case to see if thats why the live chat option was missing, but that didnt help either. The live chat option still isnt there. Is there maybe a cooldown or something like that? Is it worth trying again later?

    I realize theres not much anyone here can do to help me at this point, so just want to thank you for your patience :)

    Does it give you an estimated time to wait for the chat? 

    If you've been waiting for almost an hour, it seems a bit long. Could you try emptying the cookies of the browser and making sure that pop-ups aren't blocked in any way by the browser?

    Otherwise, maybe try another browser altogether once more.

    Thanks for moving me to the correct forum. Sorry about that, ill try to get it right next time. I also feel bad for the digs at the support website, this isnt the place for that. 

    I tried a different browser, edge seemed to work, the little chat window popped up and ive been waiting for the better part of an hour for a message.

     Is it just a matter of waiting? or should i try again?

    I've moved your post to the correct forum - please always make sure to check what language forum you're in before posting.

    So you've gotten to the live chat option, but when you fill it out, the pop-up doesn't turn up, but rather, you get sent to the front page?

    Can you try a different browser?
