Alright, the content below is my appeal letter.
Appeal Letter
To the EA Customer Service Team:
Hello! I am the player Keddie911. My account for Battlefield 2042 has been banned, and I am submitting a new appeal with a sincere attitude. I also sincerely apologize for the inappropriate remarks in my previous appeal when I was emotionally overwhelmed. I understand that this caused trouble for your review work. Thank you for sticking to your posts and handling appeals—you’ve worked hard!
1. Explanation of Login Devices
My EA account logs in through two main types of devices:
- Personal devices:
- A Lenovo Savior laptop, with system names “坤坤鸡王” (a custom Chinese name) and “Legion R9000P” (product model name), as well as identifiers related to the Lenovo brand in English (“LENOVO”). I’m not sure which specific name is recorded during login, but they all refer to this personal device.
- A Redmi Note 12T Pro mobile phone, which has only been used to log into the EA account and not for playing games.
- Internet cafe devices: I often visit “Xiongba E-sports Baoli Store” and other branches of Xiongba E-sports. The computer names in these internet cafes are mostly similar with serial numbers (e.g., “XBBL053”). It can be verified that all login devices other than my personal ones are public computers in internet cafes.
2. Clarification of the Reason for Wrongful Ban
Initially, I mistakenly thought the issue was caused by an accelerator, but later learned that it was actually due to dynamic IP changes in the public network environment of internet cafes. Multiple people share the network in internet cafes, and the IP allocation mechanism caused an anomaly. I did not engage in any intentional rule-breaking behavior (such as using cheating software or exploiting loopholes).
Such situations easily lead to wrongful bans for new players who frequently visit internet cafes. I hope the platform can optimize the judgment logic: for the first violation, a short-term ban (e.g., one week) could be imposed, with a clear notice explaining that the violation was due to environmental factors like IP changes. This would let players understand the problem and give them a chance to correct it, rather than imposing a permanent ban directly. This would reduce the number of repeated appeals from players who are unaware of the issue, make the review process more efficient, ease your workload, and benefit both sides.
3. My Passion for the Game and Attitude of Not Violating Rules
I truly love Battlefield 2042 and have invested a lot of time in it, always abiding by the rules. This incident was entirely caused by objective factors in the internet cafe environment leading to a misjudgment. I was confused about why my account was banned and felt extremely wronged, which made me lose control of my emotions. I sincerely request your team to recheck my case by considering the login device records and the internet cafe network environment (such as the public network characteristics of “Xiongba E-sports Baoli Store”), lift the wrongful ban, and allow me to continue playing the game normally.
I am fully willing to provide additional evidence such as purchase records and device login details if needed. I look forward to having my account restored so I can continue fighting in the game!
