Are there still any advisors available at all?

I keep trying to contact support using this form:

https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/

(Which was a pain to find, by the way, I literally had to google it and find a link in a Reddit post)

I've switched between reasons and issues but it all gives me the same screen:

I am an EU citizen and I want to exercise my Right To Be Forgotten.

That issue isn't supported.

I've asked to delete my account. Not supported. Tried other reasons: game breaking bug in The Sims 4. Not supported. Can't launch The Sims 4. Not supported. Asking for troubleshooting tips in Spore. Not supported. Asked to view account data. Not supported. More troubleshooting tips in another game. Not supported. Link an account. Not supported. That was yesterday. I'm trying again today,  using the chat bot this time. Still no support, not even if I claim my account was hacked, which should be an emergency situation.

I'm at my wits end right now. I don't use this account anymore, but it still has all of my data, stored in a vault, guarded by nothing but machines, being carelessly bought and sold with no repercussions whatsoever. And I can't do anything about it because the support team seemingly doesn't exist.

I'm going to leave this here and I'm not coming back until at least 24 hours from now. I need to take a break...💀

Just in case: please don't refer me to the help site. I've tried. Doesn't work. Give me an actual e-mail or phone number I can contact you with, or something else. Literally anything but the help site (or Twitter).

Hey, apologies for the rants and such. I hope you understand how frustrating this is, especially when I see a whole lot of other people struggling to connect to customer service (or even just a human).

It's the same screen I showed you in the original post.  'This issue isn't supported by advisors'.

Not so fast. The fact that I'm still here means that there was no solution. My account is still there and I'm still running in circles, doing the thing you told me to do over and over and over again.

I understand this company instructs you to behave like a bot at all times, and I also understand that this company doesn't give a dime about the fact that the Right To Be Forgotten is codified into EU law, because corporations are above the law, right? But even though I am nothing but an insect to them, I can be a very annoying insect. I would like to escalate this situation and speak to a higher up.

Hey all, testing now and was able to use the site and the bot to open a case with our live support team.

When you are unable to  open a case and speak with the team what does it say?

Logged out again, continued as guest, pretend my account was hacked, chatbot says it can't help me with that, but won't let me contact a human. Instead I'm stuck in a loop of it asking my e-mailadress and telling me it can't help me.

So, how about you delete that chatbot? Because right now it's being trained on the agonized screams of people driven mad by a company that purposefully makes it impossible to contact support and then instructs its community managers to gaslight these people into entering an endless loop of trture. I'm pretty sure you won't get a useful bot out of that.

Continued as guest, opens up chatbot, I do the thing the chatbot always asks me to do, 'contact advisor', asks me to log in, I log in, land on the page you linked, I click 'contact us', opens chatbot again. For the millionth time I enter my first name and last name and a random EA game (as if that's relevant) . Click 'talk to EA advisor', 'No Support'.

The help article only says 'you need to contact us', and then goes on listing all the things I will lose if I delete my account. The only 'contact us' button leads down the road I just described.

So, just so you know, I have a lot of things I want to say to you right now that I won't say because it would violate TOS. I don't know if you are a person, a bot, or a person instructed to behave like a bot, but I do know you're not helping.

Hold up, I'm gonna log out for a second and see if I can do it as a guest.

Chatbot prints out 'Looks like this is a job for our human experts. 🙋Do you want to talk to an EA Advisor?'. Same thing. Same 'no support' message.

What am I doing wrong here?

So, I'm on the page you linked, scrolled to the bottom, clicked 'contact us', it opens the chatbot. Is this correct?

Because it's the exact same thing I tried a day ago.

Hey Anonymous, our live support covers a variety of issues, but there are many that they cannot assist with, and as such you can make use of our help articles or the forums.

If looking to delete your account, you can find all the info on how to do so here

I tested it just there and was able to create an account deletion case and speak with one of our advisers.

Can you take a minute to review the help article and then try again.

    Darko
