Battlefield games stopped working, but I can still play EA Sports FC on my xbox?

I played battlefield 6 the past two days, but as of today I can't anymore all of a sudden. I get "an undefined error occurred". Error code 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840.

If I go to my EA account, I see there aren't any linked platforms, but my XBOX is connected to EA. When I try to link it to xbox from the EA account settings it says:

Your accounts can’t be linked because your Xbox account *********** already linked to your EA Account for 4b*****@anonymous.ea.com. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime. 

(FYI: I removed my account name in the error message)

The anonymous email address is obviously not the email address from my xbox account.

I have also tried resetting my xbox, rebooted my modem and router, tried different networks (wired and wireless), reset the cache, removed the reserved space, tried other dns ip's, tried it on my fathers xbox (he has the home xbox to share games). Nothing has changed in the xbox settings or network setup.

I also failed trying to connect to bf1 (it won't go online) and bf5 (you are not eligible to participate..)

I am kinda clueless to why I suddenly can't play anymore. How do I fix this issue?

    Same Problem by me - played bf6 since the release on 10th october. Yesterday, this error appears and the fun is over.. cant find a Solution in the web

    Having same problem after reinstalling game again. Was working fine after the new update. Then when i goto play campaign mode leave it on the 4th mission to see wife's uncle/relatives, come back, the games not working. We even went into details regarding this on another post. EA forum manager and moderators took it down. Called it "inappropriate" and even flagged it. Took down the post regarding it. 

    I keep blasting them with complaints everyday and they just choose to ignore it. Their not even emailing folks back the situation.

    Having the exact same issue, game worked fine prior to the season 1 update. Now I get the same undefined error and have tried all the same uninstalling/reinstalling/resetting as above.

    Main difference is this is occuring on a linked family account. The game works fine on the same xbox on my main account. I get the undefined error issue on the second account (but this same account worked prior to update). Have a second xbox and get the same issue so definitely seems to be some type of ea account issue.

    I have the same issue. Error Code 

    1:86001S:89001S:9C:- 13561655840 on my XBOX

     

    I just bought the game and have been unable to play. I’ve done everything network related and game related. I sat and hit retry 30+ times while researching the issue and noting. I’ve never seen a screen other than the error code screen and the loading screen. 

    I'm putting in a ticket to the Xbox store to get a refund .
