Bf6 open beta ps5

Downloaded the open beta load up today (9th August) to play and everything is locked. Deleted game and saved data re downloaded still the same thing. Made sure my EA and PlayStation accounts are linked and they are. Even went as far as to pre order the game to get access but still locked saying requires early access. Does any one know how to fix this.............otherwise I will be deleting and getting a refund of my pre order as if it states "open beta" then why do I need early access code.
