Cannot link my Xbox Account

I am having an issue (re)linking my Xbox account to by EA account, making it impossible to use EA Play titles from Xbox app. I have Xbox Live Ultimate. When trying to launch EA Play titles, I get the message "To continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over." I have already linked the correct Xbox account to my EA account before so not sure what happened to where it seems to now be linked to a disabled e-mail address.

In "Connections" in my EA account settings, it is not showing that any Xbox account is linked, but when I go to link it, I get an error saying it's already linked to a "f8*****@disabled.ea.com" No idea where to go from here.

    Have you tried resetting the password on the linked account? This generally fixes the issues you are seeing.
