Compromised account
So, I've noticed a few others with a similiar issue.
In short, my PSN was linked to another account, I use the chat feature and get a mixed bag of people who are willing to help, and those that, even when I provide proof of purchase say that I have supplied incorrect information, just read a script.
At the end of every single attempt, where I am able to verify the account (they won't do that if they're trying to prove identity, doesn't matter how many times I explain I have access to the email still), I am told "The tool is currently experiencing an outage, please try again in a few hours" or something to that effect.
That would be fine, except it's been 10 days! with no indicator as to when the tool will be fixed.
Inside the physical disc case (for Australia) there is a help line number listed, as well as the phrase "EA's Online Customer Support provides free live chat, email support, and community resources on Answers HQ" However, the number is disconnected and no one has been able to provide an email, all I ever get told is to use the live chat.
Does anyone have any indication on when this alleged outage will be fixed and my, and others, accounts can actually be recovered?
