EA account and platform account link

i can’t link my ea account to my psn account because my psn account is linked to my old ea account from like madden 12. usually when it gave me the screen to validate the login, i could just back out and put in the new account and it would work fine. all of a sudden, since about 4-5 days ago, it won’t let me put in the new one. every time i back out of the verification screen, it says “ea servers are down …..” can’t login to my old EA account because the main email has been deactivated and i can’t reuse it. please help. i’ve spent about $300 plus the game just on cfb 25 and i would hate to lose that or have to make a whole new account just to keep it
