EA account is completely soft locked.

As the title says my account is soft locked. I made this account back in 2015 when i was much younger and I never provided a phone number or secondary email because i didn't have either back then however i did like it to my xbox but its not been of any help. The current email used for my EA account and my xbox account was the same one and when i changed it years ago the EA account email didn't update to match of course so now i'm just stuck because to change the accounts email, add a secondary email, or add a phone number you need a verification code from the email however given that the name was changed along with it being an old @hotmail email domain that doesn't exist anymore i cant get the verification email to confirm it was me. Now when i went to the live chats with the EA representative they said they could only send a in game prompt for a EA title with online access to change/update it however the problem with this is that no matter how many times i restart my console, clear its cache, or even delete and redownload games the prompts NEVER show up so I have no way to even try and fix my problem. I need help but I feel like i'm just getting stonewalled when all i need done is for a EA rep to manually update my accounts email.

    Look man, I know you're just doing your job as community manger but this was genuinely of ZERO help.  I know exactly what my problem is and how it could be fixed HOWEVER the entire point of that post is that EA support WON"T do it. The only way they've tried to help is by sending a EA game title email update prompt to my trusted xbox account (that i've now confirmed is totally up to date) but the prompts DON'T appear and they all they that's the ONLY way to do it despite their being clear examples of others online being able to prove their identity and have a rep manually update account emails. At the end of the day this is EA one of the worst title publishers and gaming companies in the world, matched only by the likes of Ubisoft, but i gotta say this is easily the WORST customers service I've ever dealt with, its so anti consumer its genuinely insane i'm just trying to update an email on my bricked/soft locked account not break into fort Knox. Again this is EA so i really wasn't expecting much of anything but holy hell 2 and a half days of reps just to not be able to do ANYTHING is a little insane.

    I see you mentioned reaching out to support already, but if you're still unable to access the account you'd need to continue working with the support team as those changes cannot be made on the forums.

    You can create a new case above or try resuming a previous case here to have another advisor check into this with you to see what other options may be available, thanks!
