Ea chat live help and case creation bug
Has anyone else experienced this?
I’ve been trying to contact EA Support for over 6 hours regarding an account/purchase issue.
At first, I could create a live chat case. I would receive an email saying I had been connected to an advisor, but the chat itself never opened. Eventually the case would time out because I couldn’t access the chat.
Now, I can’t even create a new support case anymore. The contact options either don’t appear or won’t let me proceed, so I have no way to reach EA Support.
I’ve tried this on both my PC and my phone, with the same result. I’ve cleared my browser cache, tried different browsers, and nothing has worked.
Is this a known issue with EA Help, or has anyone found a workaround? I’d really appreciate any advice because I currently have no way to contact support. At this point, I’ve spent over 6 hours just trying to get in contact with someone.
Update: I was able to create another support case, but the exact same issue happened again. I received the email saying I had been connected to an advisor, but the live chat never opened, and after waiting the case timed out again. This has now happened multiple times on both my PC and my phone after spending over 6 hours trying to contact EA Support.
During these failed chats, I repeatedly begged and pleaded for someone to simply continue helping me by email if the chat wasn’t working, but I never received any follow-up or alternative way to communicate. At this point, I don’t know what else to do. I’m not even asking for an immediate solution to my issue anymore—I just need a reliable way to speak with someone from EA Support.
