EA Help, Not Helpful.

EA help is entirely useless. It depends on an automated system that monitors very specific questions. I've shown multiple screenshots that only the account owner can get as well as info from linked accounts as well as purchases made from years ago that were still on my steam past purchases and even though the adviser fully believes I'm the account owner, nothing can be done because one of the questions about my 4+ year old account was wrong. To top it off they cant tell you what question was wrong for ''Security'' reasons but let me ask you this. If i ask you were i ate yesterday and you got the question wrong, does it really matter if i tell you that you were wrong? do people think that will suddenly reveal the correct answer? You should be allowed to give AT LEAST 1 do over for AT LEAST 1 question per attempt or how can i know what i got wrong? Some questions have multiple possible answers and not telling me what was the wrong answer doesn't help me on my next attempt. Do better EA or you WILL lose players not just from making crap games but also from slowly bleeding players who can't get their **bleep** back.

    Hey Reisdrake

they cant tell you what question was wrong for ''Security'' reasons

"Security" reasons can sound a bit vague, so I'll do my best to expand on that.

Our advisors follow strict account verification procedures to protect our players from scam artists and thieves who attempt to use support cases to steal other people's accounts. Bad actors try this by guessing the account information, partnered with social engineering tactics to gain access to the accounts. We won't let that happen!

Protecting our players' accounts is paramount, so our advisors need to be vigilant and adhere to very strict verification perimeters. This includes not revealing which details were correct and which ones were wrong, as that type of feedback can help bad actors learn what information is a match and what information they need to change

We know it's frustrating to hit this wall when you're a legitimate player who can't remember your account information. And I feel you, it can be tough to recall information from so long ago. If you need the support team's help, the best thing you can do is try to recall the information you've been asked for as accurately as you can, and reach out again.

Our EA Help guide 'How to get back into your EA Account', recommends preparing this information when reaching out to support:

    • the original email address on your EA Account
    • any usernames that are linked to your EA Account, like your EA ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, or PlayStation™Network Online ID
    • any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought through an EA platform, like the EA app, or Origin (depending on how old the account is).
