Everytime i try to link my Xbox account it selects the wrong account

Question

So I have been to link my xbox account the EA app but it keeps selecting the wrong account and wont let me select my other account. And when I try to enter my email instead of going through the xbox icon it says my credentials have expired when I enter my password.

I feel rather silly and any help would be much appreciated.

It sounds like it might already be linked to an Xbox account. Can you pop up a screenshot of what you're seeing, just to be sure?&nbsp;

Hmmm have you tried to reset the password on the EA account registered to that email address? Does the error message stick around after?

Hi EA_Lanna​,These screenshots are what I see when i try to link my Xbox account through the Xbox icon.(I coloured out my email for privacy reasons)And this is when I try cancelling this action.I will try resetting the password linked to my account. And if you have any further ideas I will attempt them ASAP.Thank you.

Gotcha, thanks for sharing them nicholascageeeee​, and good call blocking out your info. The visuals help me understand things a bit more, although I haven't come across this before...&nbsp;

Are you clicking on the Xbox icon from your 'Connected Accounts' tab while logged into EA Help, or from the sign-in page (image below for viz)?&nbsp;

Ok, if you're clicking on the Xbox icon and using your gamertag to log into the EA account, it will load up the EA account that's tethered to it. That's what you've been seeing. Your Xbox is already linked to an EA account, and the EA account it loads up is the EA account that has all your EA game saves for Xbox stored on it.&nbsp;
Is there another reason for wanting it to be linked to a different EA account? Or is it that you'd just like the email on the EA account it is linked to to be updated to a different one?
