These screenshots are what I see when i try to link my Xbox account through the Xbox icon.
(I coloured out my email for privacy reasons)
And this is when I try cancelling this action.
I will try resetting the password linked to my account. And if you have any further ideas I will attempt them ASAP.

Are you clicking on the Xbox icon from your 'Connected Accounts' tab while logged into EA Help, or from the sign-in page (image below for viz)?
