I waited nearly 6 hours for live chat for the agent to be AFK/inactive

As the title states I waited nearly 6 hours in queue to get some assistance with linked accounts and have another account deactivated.

Once I got connected to the agent I got the starting premade message, but after responding to it and describing my issue in detail the agent never responded. I then sent various messages attempting to contact the customer service representative.

I have now been connected to the agent for over 30 minutes with no sign that anyone is active which really frustrating as I sat in a very long queue to even connect to said agent.

This is my first post on the forums but if any admin, community manager, or any customer service rep see's this I have the transcript saved as well as screenshots of the absent agent.

    Hi there, I'm really sorry to hear that you've waited this long and didn't get the assistance that you needed. I completely understand how frustrating that can be.

    We can help you make the changes yourself here in the EA Forums by guiding you through the steps. If you need instructions on how to unlink and relink accounts, please check these articles: Unlinking your platform accounts from your EA Account and Linking your platform accounts to your EA Account.  

    For the deactivated account, you can try resetting the password for that account, as that might help re-activate it.

     If these steps don't fix your problem, it’s important to contact EA Help again, as they are the only team with the tools to assist with linked account issues and account deactivation.

    I’ve done as much self help as possible and my only option is to contact support - there’s no way to email them with my issue? 

    its just such a pain that I waited so long to get an inactive agent.

    Depending on the topic you select, email may appear as a contact option. However, if chat response times are longer than usual, email replies may also be delayed, especially during peak periods like beta releases.
